This guide assumes you’ve either used the in-game Tutorial or read the General Information section of this guide for instructions on how to Navigate, use the Inventory and complete Search Scenes, Puzzles/Minigames and Tasks. You may not be able to view some things, visit some areas or complete some tasks, until you complete other tasks. They don’t necessarily indicate the order of completion. Numbers indicate areas you need to look at or visit, items and areas to remember or tasks and puzzles you need to complete. In Puzzles/Minigames, click on Minigame Instruction, located at the bottom, for how to complete them. Click on Inventory items, and then click on an active area to use that item. In Search Scenes, locate an object in the Item List and click on it to eliminate it from the list. Move your cursor to the top, bottom or sides of the screen to view. Navigate by clicking on any directional arrow to change your location. Exit from any Object Search by moving your cursor to the bottom of the screen and clicking on the arrow. Instructions for Puzzles/Minigames are located at the center, bottom. Exit from Puzzles/Minigame by clicking on the hand cursor, at the bottom, left. Mouse over it to see the charging progress. Skip Puzzles/Minigames by clicking on the hand cursor, at the bottom, right. The Hourglass will change to a Lit Candle when fully charged. The Hint button is located at the bottom, right. 
Click on one, then the other to combine them.
Some items in Inventory can be combined. The Inventory is located at the bottom. Click to show all active areas in the scene. A Magnifying Glass is located at the bottom, right. Mouse over, when highlighted, to view your current tasks. A Notebook is located at the bottom, left. The Menu button is located at the center, top. Please check that section of this guide for information on individual Puzzles/Minigames. Some Puzzles and Minigames are random others always have the same solution. Item Lists are random only Key/Inventory items will be shown in this guide. During cutscenes, click on the top border to bring up the Skip button for that cutscene. In Advanced mode, a tutorial isn’t available, there are fewer scene indicators, and Hint and Skip buttons charge after 60 seconds.

Click on Options to adjust the Music and Effects volume and turn the Full Screen, Wide Screen and Custom Cursor on or off. Enter your desired profile name, at the prompt.
